17-year-old athlete goes from falling behind his peers to prepping for college with ease.
Colorado Springs, CO, August 9, 2017 (Newswire.com) - One-on-one brain training company LearningRx is celebrating the incredible success of 17-year-old Will, a Charlottesville student who enrolled in an 18-week ThinkRx program and eight hours of StudyRx at his local LearningRx center. Will was losing interest in school and having trouble staying motivated. He felt frustrated that he couldn’t keep up with his peers academically and wanted his grades to improve.
At first, Will was concerned that he wouldn’t have time to do brain training because he was already taking multiple AP courses and training as a gymnast. But by the end of the personal brain training program, he realized that the improvements he had gained in his processing efficiency actually helped him create more time in his schedule—even while juggle school, homework, gymnastics and brain training!
We are so excited for Will's success and wish him the best as he gets ready for college.
Tanya Mitchell, Chief Research and Development Officer
Will said his real-life improvements include his ability to stay focused and pay attention to details in multiple subjects, but especially AP Calculus, which has a lot of components. According to Will, his memory is much stronger and he can immediately do his homework effectively and efficiency instead of procrastinating. He can also sit still and stay focused for four hours to do SAT prep, something he believes he wouldn’t have been able to do before LearningRx. Will is already looking at colleges and is very well equipped with a strong “thinking toolset.”
